Recently, I started watching a 1987 Classic NBA game between the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics. Being the long time Georgia native that I am, it dawned on me that some things never change. The Hawks lost in 1987 and 21 years later, they are still losing to the Celtics! I wonder how many of you that are reading this blog are still sending paper to your new hires “20 years later.” It’s time to go paperless — It’s time to streamline your processes. Perhaps reading my Top Ten list will open your eyes and add a bit of humor to your day.
Top 10 Reasons for Onboarding:
10. You can throw away your 1978 Brother type-writer.
9. With the money saved on printing costs, the boss might even take you to lunch!
8. With all the time saved, you can actually finish that game of solitaire.
